1 Scope

This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module Project breakdown. The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• facility to assign breakdown information to project breakdown management data;
• facility to assign product group information to project breakdown management data;
• facility to assign product as individual information to project breakdown management data;
• facility to assign product information to project breakdown management data;
• facility to assign product version information to project breakdown management data;
• facility to assign product view definition information to project breakdown management data.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• organizational structure;
• work structure.
