1 Scope

This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module Resource management characterized. The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• the identification of managed resources;
• the association of dates, times, people, and other management information with managed resources;
• the association of approvals and conditions with managed resources;
• the association of documents with managed resources;
• the association of justifications with managed resources;
• the association of properties with managed resources.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

• the quantity of a resource being managed;
• the relationships between managed resources;
• the location of resources;
• the detailed desriptions of resources;
• the classification of resources.
