This annex documents the history of technical modifications made to ISO/TS 10303-1814.

F.2 Changes made in edition 2

F.2.1 Summary of changes

The second edition of this part of ISO 10303 incorporated the modifications to the first edition listed below.

Added new enumeration types thread_hand and thread_side; Changed type of attribute "hand" from text to thread_hand; Changed type of attribute "side" from BOOLEAN to thread_side; Changed SUBTYPE OF from Definitional_shape_element to Shape_element; Replaced (Non_)Definitional_shape_element by new explicit attribute definitional on Shape_element; Fixed spelling errors.

F.2.2 Changes made to the ARM

The following ARM EXPRESS declarations and interface specifications have been added:

• USE_FROM Group_arm;
• TYPE mf_additional_application_domain_enumeration;
• TYPE mf_groupable_item;
• TYPE thread_hand;
• TYPE thread_side.

The following ARM EXPRESS declarations and interface specifications have been modified:

• ENTITY Compound_feature_relationship;
• ENTITY Direction_element;
• ENTITY Face_shape_element;
• ENTITY Gear;
• ENTITY General_removal_volume;
• ENTITY Knurl;
• ENTITY Location_element;
• ENTITY Manufacturing_feature_group;
• ENTITY Path_element;
• ENTITY Planar_element;
• ENTITY Pocket;
• ENTITY Protrusion;
• ENTITY Thread.

In addition, modifications have been made to the mapping specification, the MIM schema and the EXPRESS-G diagrams to reflect and be consistent with the modifications of the ARM.

F.2.3 Changes made to the mapping

The following changes have been made to the ARM to MIM mapping:

• The mapping for the attribute Thread.thread_hand was modified in accordance with the ARM changes. The MIM targets were not changed.
• Manufacturing_feature_group entity mapping updated.
• Multi_axis_feature entity mapping updated.
• Pocket_bottom_condition mapping updated.

F.2.4 Changes made to the MIM

The following MIM EXPRESS declarations and interface specifications have been added:

• USE_FROM Group_mim;
• TYPE mf_groupable_item.

F.3 Changes made in edition 3

F.3.1 Summary of changes

This third edition of this part of ISO 10303 incorporates the modifications to the second edition listed below.

F.3.2 Changes made to the ARM

The following ARM EXPRESS declarations and interface specifications have been modified:

• ENTITY Counterbore_hole
  Add WHERE 'WR1' ;
• ENTITY Countersunk_hole
  Add WHERE 'WR1' ;
• ENTITY Hole
  • Reference was ABSTRACT supertype, but Trial was ABSTRACT entity;
  • ENTITY Hole: Supertype expression changed.
• ENTITY Round_hole
  Add WHERE 'WR1' .

In addition, modifications have been made to the mapping specification, the MIM schema and the EXPRESS-G diagrams to reflect and be consistent with the modifications of the ARM.

F.3.3 Changes made to the MIM

The following MIM EXPRESS declarations and interface specifications have been added:

• USE_FROM machining_feature_schema.

The following MIM EXPRESS declarations and interface specifications have been modified:

• ENTITY face_shape_representation_relationship
  • WHERE 'WR1' expression changed;
  • WHERE 'WR2' expression changed.
• RULE chamfer_offset_requires_faces
  WHERE 'WR1' expression changed ;
• RULE chamfer_requires_faces
  WHERE 'WR1' expression changed ;
• RULE edge_round_requires_faces
  • WHERE 'WR1' expression changed;
  • WHERE 'WR2' expression changed;
  • WHERE 'WR3' expression changed.

The following MIM EXPRESS declarations and interface specifications have been removed:

• USE_FROM aic_machining_feature;
• RULE machining_feature_life_cycle;
• RULE transition_feature_life_cycle.
